Freelance sites weren't built for jewelry work.
Jewelry CAD is iterative, revision-heavy, and trust-sensitive. PaperToProd is a structured workflow — escrow, revisions, and file management built in — not a generic freelancer listing.
Jewelry work is iterative
Clients often can't judge a piece until it's nearly done. The workflow is built around that, not against it.
Revisions are normal, not exceptions
Standard revisions are included in every contract — no awkward back-and-forth over what counts.
Escrow reduces risk for both sides
Money is locked before work starts and released only on approval. Neither side gambles.
Deliverables stay organized
Files, renders, and contract history live in one place — nothing lost in email or chat.
Revision Quotes handle scope changes
When a request grows beyond the brief, the designer quotes it and you decide. No disputes.
Who uses PaperToProd?
Built for both sides of jewelry production — whether you commission the work or create it.
Built for clients and designers, equally.
Whether you need jewelry designed or you design jewelry — PaperToProd gives you every tool to work with confidence.
Real, production-ready output.
Every project hands off the actual files you need to take a design from screen to bench.
How PaperToProd works
From post to approval in 5 steps, with escrow protection built in.
Post a job
Briefly describe the work you need, your budget, and any reference files or sketches.
Review proposals
Verified designers send proposals with their quote and estimated timeline. Message them to evaluate fit before committing.
Fund escrow
Accept a proposal and pay the designer's quote plus standard payment processing (3%) — zero platform fees. Funds are held by the platform — not the designer — until you approve.
Collaborate
The designer submits files and renders through the platform. Communicate via platform. Request standard revisions, or accept a Revision Quote for larger scope changes.
Approve and pay
Once you approve the deliverable, payment is released in full to the designer. Production-ready files are yours.
Simple pricing for both sides.
See every number before you commit. No subscriptions, no hidden markups, no surprises at checkout.

Common questions
Everything you need to know before you get started.
What happens if I'm not happy with the work?
Standard revisions within the original brief are included per the designer's proposal. For larger scope changes, the designer can send a Revision Quote — you choose whether to accept. If there's a genuine dispute, our dispute resolution process steps in before any payment moves.
How does escrow work exactly?
When you accept a proposal and pay, your funds go to the platform account — not the designer. They are held there until you explicitly approve the delivered work. The designer receives payment only after your approval.
Can I see a designer's portfolio before hiring?
Yes. Every designer has a public portfolio page with samples and ratings from previous projects. You can also message them before committing to any project.
What file formats do designers deliver?
Jewelry designers typically deliver STL, 3DM, and high-res renders. You can inspect 3D files directly in your browser on the platform — no software installation required.
How do designers get paid?
The full quoted amount is credited to the designer's wallet when the client approves. A withdrawal fee applies only when cashing out, based on the withdrawal amount: 15% under $200, 10% from $200, and just 5% from $400 — so bigger withdrawals keep more in your pocket. The exact fee is shown before you confirm.
Is PaperToProd free to join?
Yes. Creating an account is completely free for both clients and designers. Clients pay no fee until a project is funded. Designers pay nothing to apply or submit proposals.
